I am not in favor of a Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 match because no matter what happens there, it will still result in a controversy. Let’s move on to another fighter (Mayweather???) otherwise we might see Pacquiao vs Marquez 50 and the results will still be controversial.

Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao who was proclaimed last night as the new Congressman of Sarangani in Mindanao. Manny won with over 120,000 votes and led by 50,000 over his rival, Roy Chiongbian. Pacquiao now has 1-1 record in Philippine politics, he lost in 2007.

Las Vegas – Floyd Mayweather Jr. beats Shane Mosley via unanimous decision to remain undefeated in 41 fights. Now that Mayweather has beaten Mosley, we hope to see Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. in November or December this year.

The dream match between Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. may not happen because Pacquiao is thinking about retiring his boxing gloves. If Manny Pacquiao wins in this election and becomes a congressman in Mindanao, the chances of him retiring will be much higher.

Manny Pacquiao has been boxing since he was 12 yrs old and after 19 years in the ring, he might finally retire but the world is still waiting for his big fight with undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr., but even without this fight, Pacquiao has solidified his status as the best pound-for-pound fighter and one of the best boxers in the world.

Manny Pacquiao beats Joshua Clottey via unanimous decision. Pacquiao, arguably the best pound for pound fighter in the world kept punching using different combinations in all the rounds while Clottey kept blocking which bored the 50,994 crowd watching the event at the Cowboys Stadium in Texas.

Pacquiao landed 246 of 1,231 punches; Clottey connected on just 108 of 399.
